For a long time there has been a desperate need for a restaurant in Skagaströnd. So two local couples decided to take matters into their own hands and do something about it. Birna Sveinsdóttir and Slavko Velemir together with Hafdís Hrund Ásgeirsdóttir and Stefán Sveinsson have now made their dream come true and opened a restaurant called Harbor restaurant & bar.

With the opening of the restaurant, residents and visitors of the town are finally offered the opportunity to enjoy good food and drinks with family and friends in a cozy local environment. The menu of Harbor restaurant and bar features ambitious cuisine made from fresh local produce.

Harbor restaurant & bar is located in an old industrial building on the harbor, right in the heart of town. There you can experience the view of the pier life and watch when boats dock with the catch of the day.
